Time to say "Good-Bye BUT just for awhile.......

The time has come for me to say Good-Bye BUT only for awhile. Hubbikins...the Chazman and I are so excited about the beginning of our new family adventure. This is the weekend we move to the coast...well..close to it anyways. Only about a 25 minute drive, so there will be afternoons spent combing the beach for treasures the ocean might throw our way. Of course anyone that has visited my whimsical world before today knows that means my "muse" is going to have plenty of inspiration to sing her songs to me. I'm looking forward to all her songs and stories that I can in turn bring to you. 

I should only be away for a couple of weeks. I hope that each and every one of my old and new friends have some amazing adventures to tell me about when I return. Live life....love life and enjoy each and every day that is given to you. Be blessed with the folks you have in your life everyday and let all others float away until one day they may return. It's been an adventure...a pleasure and a blessing to have found so many amazing "friends" in each and every one of you.

Manic Monday!!!

Today is a Monday, that's for sure. I have to keep a calendar and check off each day to remember just what day it actually is BUT for some reason I always know when it's MONDAY!!! Certain feelings come with Mondays.....feelings of it's a new week....things must be done...completed or in some cases begun. In my case, this is my last Monday to be in this home so I must get things done. Yes...I'm still packing, packing and packing some more. It seems somewhere along this adventure in packing I have caught a terrible cold or crud or perhaps both combined. It's not stopping me but it sure has s-l-o-w-e-d- me down. It does help to know that at the end of this week, the Chazman and I will be reunited with the hubbikins/daddikins and beginning our new adventure in a new place.

With all these feelings and thoughts my doodling went in a direction of trying to capture how I am feeling on this Manic Monday. Tell me....am I screaming because of a drippy nose and packing OR am I singing due to all the excitement of living in a new place. I think maybe both.....until next time....HUGS!!!!!!!!!    REGI

The Chazman in pencil...sort of!!!

Taking my breaks from packing and sitting down to doodle has really made me want to get back to my artistic roots and start drawing again. WOW....something that you have to have a talent for but one that you have to practice at too. Last night I decided that I wanted to start practicing in drawings of real people so I found a cute photo of my adorable son....ya'll know him as the "Chazman" and began to doodle. Now keep in mind it's been well over 25 years since I drew a person....a human person that is!!!!

Here is the doodle....I know..I know...I have tons of practicing to do but HEY...he knew it was him without the photo being in sight when he saw it....so that's a good thing, eh?  LOL
