Zombie time starting soon..MUAHAHAHAHA!!

Well...I guess there really is no need for me to apologize for letting so much time slip by yet AGAIN between postings. I think everyone has figured out by now that the time in Regiville passes by a tad bit different than else where...hehehe!!

I have been working on a group of my traditional lil mummy candy containers for the Chazman's classmates for next month. (Halloween is only 34 days away..WOOT WOOT) If you are new to visiting under the old Southern ooak tree then click HERE to see a "HOW TO" on making some mummies of your own.  As well as working on these lil guys I am also working on my Tooth Faery helpers for the Angel program...as well as ribbon barrettes and pins. Busy, Busy, BUSY I am!!!  I promise some WIP photos of these projects soon. I also have a few more witches planned for my 2013 Witch series that I needed to get started on too. One of my sweet friends and ooaks collectors stopped by yesterday and adopted Bella, the dragonfly witch ooaks. I was sooo excited!! I so love making my ooaks but really love when others love them too.

I have to put my muse aside for a few days as I am starting one of two deep cleans that will take me through Thursday...I think...probably...hopefully before then. (I clean beach houses and condos...so love my job) I'm sure that by the time I finish with these I am going to feel like part of the Zombie apocalypse...MUHAHAHA

Until next time..........munch, munch ummm I mean HUGS,

Let's do the TWIST!!!

HALLELUJAH.....the sun is a shining this morning!! It's actually a perfect morning....the sun is shining...there is a light breeze blowing...the birds are singing and there's a squirrel peeking in my window. WHAT??? Oh yes there is....staring right at the kitties fast asleep in my laundry basket.  Oops...there it goes.....I moved. I wanted to get a photo but apparently it must have been a very shy squirrel.

I finished the dragon bracelet yesterday. I think it turned out rather AWESOME if I must say so myself. Hopefully though, you will think so too so I won't be the only one that thinks so. HAHA!! I think the dangle from her mouth with the dragon egg bead really adds to this piece.

I also embellished the mermaid head clay charms too. I'm currently working on a bracelet to use one of them with. I used dyed mohair yarn to make their hair. One I added a rainbow crystal, tiny dyed pearls and a tiny piece of sea glass. On the other I used a polished river stone and some dyed pearls. This is the one that will go on the first bracelet.

I'm also going to use some natural shells on these bracelets along with some other trinkets. Remember, mermaids love baubles AND trinkets. ^_^

I'm really enjoying my "twisting" therapy. I really don't think anything else in the world relaxes me or let's me escape for awhile more than my art. How about YOU? What therapy session are you doing at the moment? I love to read my comments that you leave about what you are up to.

Until next time..........Hugs,
Regi

Finally...THERAPY has started ^_^

The Chazman is LOVING school and I have to admit, I miss him something fierce but I am enjoying my therapy again. WHAT? You didn't know that this quirky person participated in therapy. HAHA Relax, I haven't gone complete bonkers YET!! I do think I am a tad bit crazy and when I say it out loud the Chazman will say, "Well yes Mom, you are but with a side of AWESOMENESS thrown in". Such a kind, tender soul I am raising.

Now...what were we talking about? Oh yes, therapy. My therapy is my art. Anyone out there that does dabble in any kind of art knows that this is true. Dive into your art and everything else just fades away....for a little while anyways.

For the past few days I have been working on my Santa series. I know, your saying "OMGOSH Regi, it's a bit early for Christmas isn't it?"  HEY...it takes awhile to design and make the jolly ole elf ya know. Right now I'm working on a pair of hands. I love making hands and I have the perfect object to look at for making the old ones...MINE!! Well, it's true. (hehe) Do you like making hands if you are a doll sculptor? I thought since I am working on some that I would re-share a tutorial I did several years ago on how I make mine. If interested just CLICK HERE.

I only have about another hour and a half before I have to make the walk to go get the Chazman from school  so it's back to therapy I go. ^_^ Thank you for stopping by...I love your visits. Don't forget to leave a comment so I know you stopped in please. I hope tomorrow to have some WIP photos for you.

Until next time...............HUGS,
Regi
